I love and respect this duo with all my heart. Their music is timeless, passionate, and awe-inspiring.

Here’s a little taste of their new album and I am drooling.

Kickin’ it with the Rockettes

Even though Thanksgiving is just around the corner, I can’t help myself from watching Christmas shows already. One of my favorite Christmas treats is watching one of my dreams on screen… The Radio City Rockettes! Watching them live is definitely on my bucketlist 🙂

I adore their poise, gracefulness, timing, & unity. You can’t help but feel happy watching them. I know they definitely make me want to put on my dancing shoes, point my toes & kick like a Rockette!

Aaaahhh! That’s probably enough obsession for now… Anyways, I hope you enjoy this joyful season with those you love. I’m grateful that I get to spend it with my loving husband, family & friends.

Happy Holidays everyone!

The Office

I might be a little late on this…but Brian has got me hooked on The Office.

I’ve seen it a couple of times before but for some reason it just didn’t click. I’m not quite sure what changed but lately, it’s the only show running on our TV.

So, here goes my little tribute…

This totally got me so giddy (he’s not even proposing to me)

John Krasinski— you are quite a clever sweetheart ❤ Shhh… don’t tell my hubby 😉

Another one of my fave character (probably everyone’s favorite)… Mr Dwight Schrute!

Anyway, stay cool like these guys 🙂

Monday Melodies: The Civil Wars

My current music craving. I love this duo & the way they sing…. It’s almost like they’re dancing perfectly with the notes. Brian & I sang this song for a fundraiser. It’s called “My Father’s Father”

You might have heard one of their songs from “Hunger Games”  called, “Safe & Sound” & “Kingdom Come”

They also do a couple of covers like Michael Jackson’s “Billie Jean”

Check out more of their songs! I’m hoping to buy their album sometime in the near future. They definitely deserve to be heard.

Have a lovely week!

Friday Fun Dates: Comedy Show

Mr. Simpson and I have a special place for comedy shows in our hearts. I remember the first comedy show we went to together was at the Comedy Zone with John Joseph & Johnny B  last October 2011 in a show called “A One Man Show wit 2 Guys”. They incorporated music & theater with comedy which made for an entertaining night.

Here’s a clip of John Joseph:

The second time we went back with Tita, Doug, Jordan & Carissa was last December 2011 for Mutzie‘s show. He has appeared on Showtime, Comedy Central & the last 6 season of BET’s Comic View.

Check him out:

Tonight, for our date night with Jim & Patti, we went out for dindin at Chili’s then came back to our house & watched “Them Idiots”  with Bill Engvall, Jeff Foxworthy & Larry the Cable Guy.

I hope you’ll remember to laugh out loud this weekend. Tomorrow, I get to hang out with my hubby— oh boy! oh boy! oh boy!
