It’s FALL season!
As much as I love the summertime, autumn is just as beautiful and as fun. I very much look forward to…
Camping which also means SMORE’S time and bonfire
Pumpkin on everything
This also means EXTRA cuddling time
And of course, Thanksgiving and Christmas is almost here!
Well, I better calm myself down and just maybe sip on some hot chocolate. xoxo, Grace
Happy Valentines amigos! Hope you felt loved today if not, well I’m sending you bear hugs all over. So, here are just a few more ideas for our 14 Days of Valentines. They say the best way to a man’s heart is through his stomach. So why not bake him some cookies or brownies & shape them into hearts. Nom nom nom.
Another fun idea is to play Valentine’s Bingo. There are a lot of printable ones like this one from Makoodle.com and you can use heart shaped candies to play with as well. Since you’re going all out anyways might as well leave a note saying “BINGO! How did I get so lucky!”
Remember it’s never too late to express your love just because “Valentine’s day” is over.
Oh dear! I didn’t realize Valentine’s day is in 3 days–— that sure went by really fast!!! So, here are several more ideas to complete your 14 Days of Valentine’s
- In our house, apples are not very popular but we don’t mind dried apples 🙂 So, if you’re like us grab some dried apple snackies with a note “You are the apple of my eye”
- You can never go wrong with Snickers unless of course if you’re allergic to nuts. So if your man/woman is a fan of Snickers… “I hope you don’t snicker because I’m crazy about you!”
- “Be-twix you and me…I love you” Yummy & simple.
- My husband loves mint chocolate. He seriously ate the whole package of Andes mint chocolate in one day. So note to self, make sure to give the note first before he devours the treat. “We’re mint to be together”
Doing the 14 days of Valentines can be pretty tedious & it might take a lot of effort but don’t get discouraged! It’s TOTALLY worth it. Just remember who & why you’re doing it ❤
Hello & Welcome to another session of 14 Days of Valentines! For today’s love token, I call this guy the Mr Love Robot — you can’t really command it to do anything other than showing your love one that you care about them. It might look like a science fair project gone wrong but I’m quite proud of this one. I pretty much improvised and did whatever I could with what was available and Ta-Da!
With a styrofoam ball, some bamboo skewers from the kitchen, and lots of lollipop, you can make a masterpiece like mine 😀 Let your valentine know that no matter what, you’ll always be there for him/her especially when things get sticky.
I hope everyone’s having an awesome weekend!
Here’s another idea for Valentine’s – it’s simple, yummy & a great way to curve hunger 🙂
Also here’s a cute little Valentine song from The Little Rascals just for you ❤
Remember, “Happy girls are the prettiest”– Audrey Hepburn
Love is in the air ❤
Valentine’s around the corner & since I’m a hopeless romantic, I’m all about this holiday. Last year, I didn’t get to write about our very first Valentine’s as a married couple so for the next few days, I will share our 14 Days of Valentines.
For the first day of Valentine’s, I had this note saying: “On the first day of Valentine’s I want you to know you are the best. Today you get a full body massage. Come on in, lay down & take a rest!”
Imagine getting a massage here!
Just in case you’re wondering… I’m still alive! I’ve got great things planned out for my little blog so stay tuned. Here’s a couple of updates from the Simpsonville:
We’re officially homeowners! I can’t believe one of Brian & I’s dream have come true. It definitely feels good to own our place. You can imagine how excited I am to decorate & learn a lot about home improvements. For the next couple of years this home will be our own little adventure. I hope to fill it with lots of mini Brian & Grace someday 😉 PS: I have to give a shout out to our fabulous & gorgeous realtor, Laura Brannen. Thank you so much for everything!
This past holiday was so fun because we got to see our families. My brother Jared, Carissa & her hubby Jordan, & April and her fiance Josh were all in town. We had lots of oysters (my fave!), crabs, crawfish, and shrimp and tons more food.
We also celebrated Papa’s 54th birthday. Let’s just say their living room somehow turned into a dance floor and I mean with disco lights & Gangnam style.
And we also had the chance to spend some time with Brian’s family. We had them over for dinner a couple of times at our new house. I’m so glad we closed our house just on time for them to see our new crib.
Then, we had the privilege to go to the temple all together again for Tyler’s endownment. The last time my family & Brian’s family were together in the temple was on our wedding day. Tyler has chosen to serve a 2-year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He has been called to the California San Diego mission. We are very proud of him!
Overall, 2012 was a good year. Cheers to 2013!
