$150 a Month for Two: Carissa

Hello Dearests! Carissa here!

Image

I have been married for almost 8 months now (LOVING every second!), and one of the things I am trying to do is get our grocery budget down to a reasonable price. See, I love cooking and trying new recipes, but a couple months ago I realized that we were spending over $300 on groceries- $300 FOR TWO PEOPLE?!? Hmm… did not quite add up in brain. I thought about “couponing,” but there simply wasn’t enough time in my day between work, errands, and quality time with the hubby and my LDF (long distance family). It was then that I decided on a reasonable price- $150 on food, health and beauty products and household goods. These posts will be about keeping track of progress each month. I will also be posting some recipes so stay tuned!
