Sunday Devotion: Flower Biscuits

What a lovely sunny Sunday!

I love Sunday naps ❤ For some reason it’s just way more relaxing.

Today, I made some of these Flower biscuits for Brian to take for his home teaching. This is inspired by Cinnamon Biscuit Blossoms.

Ingredients

2 cans of Pillsbury Refrigerated Buttermilk Biscuits

1 tablespoon sugar

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Nutella jar

Directions

  1.  Pre-heat oven at 375°F.
  2. Separate dough & group them into four biscuits each for each flower (you can add more petals/ biscuits).
  3. Place each flower biscuit on ungreased cookie sheet.
  4. In a small bowl, combine sugar & cinnamon; mix well.
  5. Sprinkle the sugar mixture over biscuits.
  6. With your thumb, make deep indentation in center of each biscuit.
  7. Fill each center with Nutella (you can choose to add this right after the biscuits are baked)
  8. Bake at 375°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm.
It’s such a beautiful day outside maybe I’ll bring a blanket, a book, and my husband & enjoy this sunshine.
Have a wonderful day!
